Harden Up Plan

Having personally seen the full extent of damage done to Darwin by Cyclone Tracey from a Helicopter and working to clean up for several weeks my advice is; - If the prediction is for a Category 4 cyclone to hit you – leave, if a Category 5 – definitely Leave. No If, buts or maybes. DO NOT ASK YOUR EMPLOYER IF YOU CAN LEAVE – Tell them you are going, and be at your evacuation destination 24 hours before the cyclone is due to hit. A cyclone moving at 30klms per hour could be 720klms closer to you this time tomorrow.
