Real Life Tips About Building Resilience
In the lead up to the cyclone season, fill your freezer with clean milk bottles filled with water. These can be kept at the bottom of the freezer until a cyclone is nearby. Before the cyclone is due, repack the freezer so that you have some water bottles at the top and some easy cook foods. Larger pieces of meat should be at the bottom with other ice bottles. If the power goes out for a number of days the ice will help keep food frozen. A full freezer holds its temperature better than an empty one.
