Rainfall totals were relatively low and as a result there was very little flooding. The exception to this was the 24th to 26th, when moderate to heavy rainfall affected the North Tropical Coast, causing minor to moderate flood levels in several river catchments. Daily rainfall totals over 300 mm were recorded at a number of locations. Minor flood levels occurred along the Mulgrave, Russell and Johnstone Rivers, and also along Flaggy Creek, a tributary of the Barron River. Moderate flood levels were recorded at one river height station on the Russell River.
