Heavy rainfall that was recorded throughout the Bulloo River catchment produced widespread major flooding and in some areas record major flooding. River heights at Quilpie and Thargomindah both recorded their heighest levels since January 1974 with the gauging station at Autumnvale recording its highest level on record. Flood warnings that began on the 1st of March continued until the 18th of March.
