Major flooding was recorded in the Mooloolah River with minor flooding experienced elsewhere on the Sunshine Coast and adjacent Mary River tributaries. Moderate to major flooding also occurred in Burpengary Creek in the Pine Rivers basin near Caboolture, with North Pine Dam quickly exceeding the full supply level.

Significant flash flooding was recorded throughout the Brisbane suburbs, with moderate to major flooding occurring in Purga, Bundamba, Woogaroo, Moggill and Breakfast Creeks.
