Cyclone crossed central coast at Port Clinton on 19th. Some damage to buildings at Yeppoon and Taranganba Station. It recurved over Gayndah and Double Island Point and moved across the Lord Howe Island area.

At 8pm Friday the centre was to the north of Gayndah there was some wind damage at Toowoomba around 6pm Friday. Kilcoy Creek flooded Kilcoy on Friday, Heavy losses to Citrus Crops at Palmwoods from gales on Thursday night.

Exceptional gale at Mooloolaba Thursday night the wind blowing with cyclonic force from the north east, whipped the sea with tremendous fury and enormous waves on Friday were sweeping in at Point Cartwright and Alexandra Headlands The houses were shaking under the effects of the wind and one house has had most of the roof blown away. From 18th to 22nd most south-coast rivers and creeks rose considerably and there were floods in the Mary and Stanley rivers.

This event is classified as an East Coast Low.
