Cyclone moved SE from Central Qld coast and then east. Gales and very heavy rain SE Qld coast and north coast NSW.

A Severe low pressure system crossed the coast near Rockhampton and then moved down just west of Brisbane and then turned towards the east passing just to the south of Tweed Heads on the afternoon of Saturday 10 June 1893.

The Brisbane River peaked in Brisbane City at 10.00am 12 June 1893 at 3.63metres. Bremer 12.2metres at Ipswich. At Allora the flood-waters rose 3feet higher than in the February1893 floods. Bundaberg 10 June Another disastrous flood with the river coming halfway up the sheds on the wharves.

Maryborough June 11- The water to-day was 9feet over the wharves. Gympie- All the bridges are covered; also the settler?s cultivations and gardens on the banks of the river, and the crops of potatoes and winter feed are all destroyed.

The Clarence River at Grafton 12 June1893 was 7.20 metres which is a major flood. The Macleay River June 1893 reached 17.1metres at Bellbrook and 7.5metres at Kempsey which was a major flood and ranked 3rd in history.

Bingara- Very heavy rain fell here on Friday and Saturday 9inches being registered. The river rose 29feet, higher than has been known since the 1861 flood, the waters rising to the floors of two or three houses.

Camden -The River flooded and was 2 feet over the bridge. Lismore- The River rose 22feet (6.7metres) up to Sunday forenoon. Raymond Terrace _ Report on Monday 12 June, ?The river has risen 2feet 6inches and in some parts has overflowed its banks A large extent of agricultural land is under water.

This event is classified as an East Coast Low.
